My creative collaboration with the Motiongraff team, Slow Roast Records and Codes continues from our “Codes House” Motiongraff episode to this video for Codes’ new “Guzzlin Champagne Remix”.
I put a simple story together to take a stop motion tour of Codes daily champagne infused routine and tried to work in several animation techniques along the way. Mr. Fubz from Motiongraff was the main shooter and got some great shots of all the run-n-gun action.
Mainly burst-shooting, we also had a few moments of “proper” stop motion in the mix.
I used a lensbaby lens and played with some slow shutter shooting to get the “High-Speed Streets of NYC” shots. Some of the cleaner shots came from Leah Okediji-Levin’s camera.
Last minute twitter shout out got us our two French Canadian girls to jump around in frozen champagne. Thank you ladies… and of course producer, Serge Milstein’s cameo as Codes girlfriend on the phone was priceless! Hope the vid looks as fun as it was to shoot!
